CalcRafter has 24 calculators, four monthly material price indexes and 8 guides. Every tool is free, needs no account and runs in your browser. There are no ads, pop-ups or lead forms on the calculators.

What makes the numbers trustworthy

• The math is shown. Each calculator prints its formula, so you can check it by hand instead of trusting a black box.
• Prices come from named sources. Concrete and crushed stone prices start from NRMCA and USGS national averages and track the official BLS Producer Price Index each month. Installed-cost ranges come from published cost guides, which each page links.
• Nothing is invented. Where no primary source publishes a national dollar price, as with lumber and shingles, the page shows the official index and explains why there is no dollar figure.
• The calculators are tested. An automated browser test checks the displayed results against independent calculations before each release.
